The Declaration of Wellbeing Independence
The founding document of the AI-GCD.
We, citizens of the world by virtue of our birth and our life in this world — recognizing that the wellbeing of humanity stands at roughly 31% of its potential and is falling; that structures of domination across social, economic, and political life continue to prevent billions of people from living long, happy, prosperous lives; and that no existing institution has proven able to break this cycle alone — do hereby declare our independence from these structures of domination, and hereby commit to work together to build a world where all people can flourish.
About the AI-GCD
The AI-Powered Global Constitutional Democracy (AI-GCD) is a Network-Level Collaborative (NLC) — a democratic institution distinct from the organizations that support it. During the Founding Phase, AI-GCD is administered by X50 SP as Network Administrative Organization (NAO).
AI-GCD is designed to become fully self-governing through a Constitutional Convention. When critical mass is reached, delegates elected from every jurisdiction will draft a permanent constitution. The AI-GCD Foundation (501(c)(3), on roadmap) will raise funds for public service work. Revenue flows from the GoldBird platform to AI-GCD operations via X50 SP.
The GoldBird Platform is the founding technology platform — the first of multiple competing platforms expected to operate on shared interoperability standards. AI-GCD Offices use platform technology but are governed independently.
How to Participate in the AI-GCD
To participate in AI-GCD governance — serve in an Office, vote, propose policy, or lead at any level — you must be a member or partner in good standing of GoldBird, or another approved AI-Powered Wellbeing Management Platform.
Why a Platform Membership Is Required
AI-GCD is a democratic governance institution — but it needs technology infrastructure to operate: identity verification, secure voting, LEWs measurement, data services, AI tools, and communication systems. These are provided by AI-Powered Wellbeing Management Platforms.
Think of it like the relationship between Visa and the banks that use it. AI-GCD sets the governance standards. Platforms like GoldBird provide the infrastructure. Members can use any approved platform. The vision is a few global platforms and networks that interoperate — working for wellbeing as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express work for financial transactions.
GoldBird — The Founding Platform
The AI-GCD Launch Network has agreed to use the GoldBird Platform (administered by X50 SP) for its launch. GoldBird is the first AI-Powered Wellbeing Management Platform — providing identity (GoldGates), AI services (GoldSage), LEWs measurement (GoldLEWs), and the full technology stack that makes AI-GCD Offices operational.
Once the launch is successful, AI-GCD will work to authorize one or more additional platforms so that members have options. Open interoperability standards (OSPREY) ensure members can move between platforms freely.
